BLACKED OUT SHADES DROPPIN SOON!!! #BOS
I wrote this song nearly 2 years ago during a rough patch in my life. Initially the lyrics were just used to relieve my frustrations and I never planned to publicly release the song.
Following graduation, I had a dream job at NASA which I was later wrongfully terminated from. After six months of collecting unemployment, running up my credit cards, applying to countless jobs and only going on a handful of interviews, I settled on a job with a collections agency. How ironic? A nigga in debt was trynna get people to pay theirs…lol
Fast-forward to now and I’m in a FAR better position than I was then…However, I see many more people are going through and feeling the EXACT same way I did. It is my hope that my experiences will let you know that you’re not alone in the post-graduate struggle and that if you continue to push, God will see you through this trying time.
Have Faith,
Best Wishes,
Enjoy.

The Michael Vick Project is an EP, which serves as an unauthorized biography that chronicles Michael Vick’s story from Draft day up until the present. No different than a movie writer being inspired by a captivating novel, I felt as if Michael’s awe-inspiring story of immense pain and success deserved to be told from an artistic point of view. Normally, media outlets tend to focus more on Vick’s mistakes than the progress he has made as a man. More light has been shed on his dark days than the odds he has overcome.
Whether or not you are familiar with the details of his story, this EP will provide you with the opportunity to ostensibly dive into the mind of the man who has subconsciously inspired many others and myself. Whether you’re a fan of Vick, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Virginia Tech Hokies, an intense dog lover, or none of the above, I hope that this project will at the very least help you to obtain an appreciation for his drive and passion to right his wrongs. Besides, everybody loves a good comeback story…Right?

Now…I wouldnt feel right about this post if I didn’t let it be known that Kobe Bryant is the greatest basketball player on the Planet….SO…Allow for me to start off by saying that Kobe Bryant IS indeed the Greatest basketball player on the Planet!!
Now, with that out-of-the-way, there’s this other guy in the league, with some pretty dope shoes, who has managed to win the League’s Most Valuable Player Award two years in a row. Since then, he has ditched the Cleveland snow for Palm Trees in the winter and to align forces with a couple other guys to form a super team comparable to the Avengers.
The big questions from me and many sports genius’ alike (Ha!) was how will this affect his legacy and his numbers? Well….Fast Foward from July to February and the answer is….
Little to none….
I mean, sure…arguments can be made about his sidekick mentality and his will to pass up on the last shot, but let’s face it…not only is this guy a sure-fire first ballot Hall-of-Famer, but he is also a legitimate candidate to win this years MVP Award…AGAIN…Even with two starters from the USA’s Gold Medal Team suiting up with him this year, LeBron James has clearly been the Miami Heat’s Most Valuable Player…
Not only is he the go-to guy, but his numbers havent taken the big hit that most thought….check out his 3 stat lines in comparison to his Career averages…
You can see that the only real difference is that he hits ONE less shot (or a couple free throws) per game than he has the previous two seasons…but with good reason…he now plays with two guys who have averaged over 20 points per game over the past seven seasons…
In all honesty, with no discredit to what Amare’ Stoudamire, Derrick Rose, nor Kevin Durant are doing, LeBron James should win this seasons MVP award….Granted, we’re only halfway through the season but I don’t see LeBron’s numbers going down between now and mid-April. Coach Spo has given him the green light, the team is winning and if anything, his assists may rise a bit. If you’re still having a hard time finding a reason as to WHY James should win the MVP, try finding one as to why he shouldn’t…
The sad thing is that he probably won’t win because of many sportswriters disapproval of his move. However, if they were to step outside of their bitter box, they would be able to see that the Miami Mai Tais haven’t slowed James down a bit….
In any regard, Tubbs get’s my vote….
M-V-3!

It's just sumthin about these boots...I cant call it...It's such a conflict I had to blog about it...
Now…Imma start by saying….The Man in me…(Pause)…scoffs at these boots…like…come on…They’re Loud, Bulky, & Tasteless…
But T.I. Said it best…
“The main thing makin niggas judge you…
Is the same thing that make me wanna love you…”
You see…The Sneaker & Boot lover in me…(Pause)…that kid in Camden that was quick to throw on his First Down coat and Timberlands…The Man with a fetish for retro sneakers…and dare I say the Nigga in me…(Final Pause)…LOVES these joints!!
And I can’t explain why…Maybe its the Color…Maybe its the Foamposite Material, Maybe its the conversion from sneaker to Boot…Maybe its a combination of all of them…I dont know…but Im all about them nonetheless…
To the normal person…they’re hideous…but to someone with a vision and the knowhow…such as myself…These can POP….
These Boots X Chicago Bulls Skully X Black Polo or V-neck AND/OR a Duffle Coat (gotta keep it Taylored*) X a Hard Dark Denim = FLOSS….
My ONLY Beef wit these Boots is that HEFTY $215 Price Tag….You can miss me wit that….but once these hit sales racks, which I’m POSITIVE they will…Im scoopin!!
You can judge me if you’d like…that’s fine…Im comfortable with my laid-back style and fashion sense…and at the end of the day, You’ll appreciate MY Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy…

LeBron’s signature powder toss had never had more of a meaning than it did last night in Quicken Loans Arena. A sellout crowd of Cleveland faithful were on hand with tons of support for the Cavaliers but even more animosity for Mr. James. However, much like the powder, the energy which was heaved towards the ceiling via the loudest “Boo’s” humanly possible and degrading chants, slowly but surely came back down and seemingly disappeared in thin air.
Even though he nailed his first shot over Anthony Parker, Lebron, who seemed very stiff and timid (pause), was visibly affected by the hatred on display. There were T-Shirts and signs which labeled LeBron a quitter, a liar, a loser, and everything this side of a homosexual Satan. Fans would heckle James all night with chants of “Scot-tie-Pip-Pen” (Who just happens to be a Hall-of-Famer) to address how many feel like he is merely a sidekick in Wade County, and “Ak-Ron-Hates-You” to convey the hurt and distaste he left behind when he took his talents to South Beach.
How did he respond? Well, After a pretty decent first half, he EXPLODED in the third quarter for 24 of his 38 points. Even as a visitor, LeBron still catered to the Cavs fans. The more the fans chanted, the more he gave them to chant about. The more they booed, the more he gave them to hate. The former hero turned heel relentlessly dropped buckets and talked trash to anyone draped in wine & gold. Through three-quarters, LeBron amassed 10 more points than the entire starting five of the Cavs did throughout the entire game….and he took 5 less shots….
In my opinion, this may have been the most impressive game I’ve seen LeBron play. Sure he has put up better numbers in the past, but when you add the obvious pain, pressure, and adversity to his stat line, all while omitting an entire quarter of play in this playoff-like atmosphere, his performance becomes that much more impressive…I applaud King James as he showed tremendous fortitude in brushing off the ridicule, disdain, and banterous bullets from Cleveland fans all while burning down the house he built and walking away with the last laugh…
